Moldova to develop ambitious bilateral agenda with Estonia

Chisinau, 23 August /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu had a meeting with her counterpart from Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid in Kiev today, the presidential press service has reported.  

The head of state expressed Moldova’s interest in developing an ambitious bilateral agenda with Estonia, by taking over the experience of this country in the digitalization of the economy and public services, as well as the good practices in the management of the public affairs.

President Maia Sandu thanked Kersti Kaljulaid for the support provided by Estonia to Moldova, including for the assistance meant for buying protection materials in the pandemic and the decision to donate a consignment of anti-Covid-19 vaccines.  ‘’Estonia is a consistent supporter of the democratic changes from Moldova and the country’s European integration,’’ President Maia Sandu said at the end of the meeting.
