Moldova's Border Police creates mobile vaccination teams

Chisinau, 26 August /MOLDPRES/ - The border policemen will be able to be vaccinated against Covid-19 even at the working place as of 27 August 2021. To this end, mobile vaccination crews were set up, which will reach all sectors of the Border Police, headquarters of the regional departments and the Centre of Excellence in Border Security during the mini-holiday.    

„The idea to create these vaccination crews is just to encourage the colleagues to be vaccinated and understand that the virus in continuation poses danger for the health. I was impressed by the new leadership of the Costesti Border Police Sector, which in only one week managed to increase the number of the vaccinated people from 40 per cent to 75 per cent. If we present such indexes, certainly, many actions planned by the General Inspectorate of the Border Police (IGPF) will be implemented and we will not have to postpone them in the context of the pandemic,’’ the head of the Border Police, Rosian Vasiloi, said at a meeting with medical employees of IGPF.
