Moldovan top officials laid flowers at Grieving Mother Monument

Chisinau, 27 August /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu, Speaker Igor Grosu and Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita today laid flowers at Grieving Mother Monument on the 30th anniversary of independence of Moldova.

At 10:00, on the stage in the Grand National Assembly Square, will be inaugurated the Independence Day, in the presence of the leadership of the Republic of Moldova and foreign officials visiting our country: President of Romania, President of Ukraine and President of Poland. President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu will have a congratulatory message at 10:15.

The police warned people that during the events public transport redirections were operated in the capital, the traffic on some streets in the city center being closed.
