Moldovan parliament speaker to pay official visit to Bucharest

Chisinau, 30 August /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu will pay an official visit to Bucharest, at an invitation by President of the Romanian Parliament’s Chamber of Deputies Ludovic Orban, the parliament’s communication and public relations general department has reported.   

Igor Grosu will participate in the ceremony on the opening of the works of the second session of the Romanian Parliament’s Chamber of Deputies, due on 1 September 2021.

On the sidelines of the visit, the Moldovan parliament speaker will have meetings with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis, President of the Senate Anca Dragu, during which the officials will tackle subjects on the present dialogue, as well as the strengthening of the partnership between both countries through joint actions and projects.    

Moldova’s delegation will also be made up of MPs: head of the parliament’s commission for foreign policy and European integration, Doina Gherman,  head of the commission for agriculture and food industry, Vladimir Bolea, head of the commission for economy, budget and finances, Dumitru Alaiba, head of the commission for national security, defence and public order, Lilian Carp, head of the commission for public administration, Larisa Voloh, deputy head of the juridical commission for rules and immunities, Veronica Rosca, deputy head of the commission for public administration, head of the Joint Commission for European Integration between the parliaments of Moldova and Romania Petru Frunze, deputy head of the commission for culture, education, research, youth, sport and mass media, Virgiliu Paslariuc, deputy head of the commission for human rights and inter-ethnic relations, Ana Racu,  deputy head of the commission for environment and regional development, Ina Coseru.
