French foreign minister to visit Moldova

Chisinau, 1 September /MOLDPRES/- Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic Jean Yves Le Drian will pay a visit to Chisinau on 2 September at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova.
According to the MAEIE press service, the visit's agenda includes meetings with his counterpart Nicu Popescu, President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița.
The discussions will address ways to intensify high-level political contacts, economic and cultural cooperation, as well as Moldova's relations with the European Union.
