Moldova to strengthen partnership with Romanian Department for Relation with Moldova

Chisinau, 2 September /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu and other parliament members have met State Secretary at the Department for Relation with Moldova of Romania’s Government, Adrian Dupu, during the official visit to Bucharest, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.

The sides discussed numerous social, humanitarian, education, cultural, infrastructure projects carried out in Moldova with Romania’s generous financial support.

”This is a valuable assistance, felt by each citizen of Moldova and it would be much more difficult for us to modernize our institutions and communities without this support,’’ the parliament speaker stressed.

The officials agreed on the need to strengthen the partnership, including at the local level, which is to bring palpable results for the benefit of both countries’ citizens.
