As many as 787 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 2 September /MOLDPRES/ -A number of 7,005 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 787 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which 682 among non-vaccinated people. Nineteen out of these cases are import ones. As many as 268,892 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.  

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 13 out of all cases of infection are among medical employees (seven physicians, four medical assistants and two representatives of the auxiliary staff).

As many as 1,015 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 81 are in extremely serious condition and six patients are connected to mechanical ventilation. 

In the context, 2,533 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 15,586 are under supervision at home.

Another 312 people have been treated. As many as 257,984 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another five deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,411 people have died of coronavirus in all.
