As many as 466 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 6 September /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,936 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 466 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which 392 among non-vaccinated people. 16 out of these cases are import ones. As many as 270,685 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 16 out of all cases of infection are among medical employees (three physicians, 5 medical assistants, 8 -auxiliary staff).

As many as 1,260 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 123 are in extremely serious condition and 19 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 2,846 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 15,981 are under supervision at home.

Another 338 people have been treated. As many as 259,499 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another nine deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,445 people have died of coronavirus in all.
