Six people to be investigated on spinning judge

Chisinau, 7 September /MOLDPRES/- Six people will be prosecuted for violating the inviolability of a judge's personal and family life. The Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases (PCCOCS) announced today that it has completed the criminal investigation and sent the case to court.

Prosecutors established that the information about the judge's private life was collected without the person's consent, using special technical means intended to obtain hidden information. The data were collected in April this year and would have certain correlations with the activity of the person with public dignity on certain processes he had in management.

The six are men between the ages of 25 and 40, and one of them has previously been convicted of another type of crime. Preventive measures in the form of an obligation to leave the country were applied to all six persons.

According to the law, the violation of the inviolability of personal life is punished with a fine of up to 37,500 lei or with unpaid work for the benefit of the community of up to 240 hours.
