According to the Fruit Producers and Exporters Association, participation in the exhibition was organized by the Moldova Fruit Association within the Moldovan Fruits for the World Program, implemented with the support of the USAID project High-Value Agriculture in Moldova and the Moldovan Investment Agency.

The event is visited by operators from the entire fruit trade chain. This year, the exhibition was organized in both physical and digital format.

"It was useful for us to find out about the quality requirements requested by potential partners - importers, store chains, distributors from Italy, Poland, Hungary, Egypt, the Baltic States and other countries in the region we met at the exhibition" , Eugenia Velicescu, fruit producer and exporter said.

Iurie Fală, executive director of Moldova Fruct, said that discussions with fruit importers from other countries have confirmed their interest in Moldovan production. Last year, Moldovan producers visited only the Macfruct exhibition virtually, and this year they managed to be physically present and participate in multiple meetings and negotiations. There are real possibilities for Moldovan fruits to reach EU markets, said Iurie Fala.

For the presentation and promotion of Moldovan fruits, in the next period, Moldova Fruct members plan to participate in the exhibitions WorldFood Moscow (Russia), Tallinn FoodFair (Estonia), Fruit Attaction (Spain) and Anuga (Germany).
