BNM put into circulation commemorative coin dedicated to Mihai Eminescu National Theater

Chisinau, 10 September /MOLDPRES/- Today, the National Bank of Moldova put into circulation as a means of payment and for numismatic purposes a commemorative coin dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the inauguration of the National Theater in Chisinau (currently - Mihai Eminescu National Theater).

According to the BNM, the coin is made of silver and has a face value of 100 lei. It was issued in a circulation of 300 units and will complete the "Historical Events" series.

The commemorative coin is packed in a transparent methacrylate capsule and a presentation box, it is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, written in Romanian and English, signed by the governor of the National Bank of Moldova.

The building of the National Theater Mihai Eminescu which appears on the commemorative coin was built in the 30s of the twentieth century and has the status of a monument of art, architecture and history of national significance.
