Moldovan, Slovak officials approach cooperation

Chisinau, 15 September /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, met today in Chisinau with Ivan Korčok, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic.
According to the MAEIE press service, the officials discussed the new directions of cooperation with the European Union: environment, digital transformation, resilience and security.
"I was glad to see that the Republic of Moldova can count on the assistance and support of Slovakia," Popescu said.
The heads of the two diplomats appreciated the excellent bilateral relationship and agreed to intensify trade and economic cooperation, in an active manner and with concrete results for citizens.
Popescu thanked for the donation of 10,000 tests, which arrived in Chisinau today, on the occasion of the visit of the Slovak Minister.
The two officials exchanged views on regional security and Transnistrian settlement.
