Moldovan president meets Slovak foreign minister

Chisinau, 15 September /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu today met Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Ivan Korčok, visiting Chisinau, the presidential press service has reported.
Officials discussed the Chisinau government's immediate priorities, reforms in the justice sector and the challenges we face nationally and regionally. "We agreed we need to boost political, economic and cultural relations between our countries," Maia Sandu said.
The head of state thanked Slovakia for consistent support to the Republic of Moldova both politically and through development assistance. "I also mentioned the importance of the aid I received through SlovakAid for the fight against Covid-19. In particular, we appreciated the financial support provided to Moldovan hospitals for the purchase of medical equipment ", said Maia Sandu.
