Moldovan MPs make amendments to law on pension system

Chisinau, 16 September /MOLDPRES/- Draft amendment to the Law on public pension system was adopted today in first reading.

The document sees that when determining the average monthly income insured for the non-contributory period of care of a child with severe disability under the age of 18 or a person with severe disability by one of the parents, the guardian or guardian to take into account the average salary monthly in the country, at the date of determining the pension.

At the same time, it is proposed to grant a solidarity supplement to pension beneficiaries, whose calculated pension is less than the amount of the minimum pension.

For this year, the expenses necessary for granting the solidarity supplement amount to 512,712.1 thousand lei.

The draft amendment to the public pension system also provides the right to re-examine the pension of persons who work or have been employed after the realization / re-examination of the right to disability pension, according to a staggering according to the contribution period achieved after establishing the disability pension.
