45 friendship groups with other countries set up in parliament

Chisinau, 16 September /MOLDPRES/- Parliament today decided to set up several parliamentary friendship groups with other countries.

According to the decision of the deputies, 45 friendship groups will be created: with the countries of South-Eastern Europe (Republic of Albania, Republic of Northern Macedonia, Republic of Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina), United States of America, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Austria, Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Belarus, Kingdom of Belgium, Republic of Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, People's Republic of China, Republic of Cyprus, Republic of Croatia, Kingdom of Denmark, Hellenic Republic, Swiss Confederation, Republic of Estonia, Republic of Finland, French Republic, Georgia, Federal Republic of Germany , Ireland, the State of Israel, the Italian Republic, Japan, the countries of Central Asia (Republic of Kazakhstan, Republic of Kyrgyzstan, Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Republic of Uzbekistan), Republic of Latvia, Republic of Lithuania, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Republic of Malta, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Kingdom of Norway, Republic of Poland, Portuguese Republic, Romania, Russian Federation, Republic ica Slovakia, the Republic of Slovenia, the Kingdom of Spain, the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of Thailand, the Republic of Turkey, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Ukraine, the Republic of Hungary.

The nominal composition of the groups was determined on the basis of the options put forward by MPs. The distribution of the functions of group presidents was carried out, taking into account the proportional representation of political parties in Parliament.
