Romanian authorities included Moldova in yellow zone of epidemiological risk

Chisinau, 17 September /MOLDPRES/- The National Committee for Emergency Situations in Romania updated last night the list of countries / territories of high epidemiological risk. Due to the increased incidence of COVID-19, the Republic of Moldova has been placed in the yellow zone of epidemiological risk.
According to the document approved by the officials from Bucharest, the yellow zone entered: from the red zone, following the decrease of the incidence - Bulgaria, France, Thailand, Puerto Rico, Eswatini and Guernsey; in the green zone, following the increase in incidence - the Republic of Moldova, Honduras, New Caledonia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Gibraltar.
The Republic of Moldova registered on 16 September 1,289 new cases of COVID-19 infection, of which 23 among medical workers. The daily balance of infections with the new coronavirus, recorded on Thursday, is the highest so far.
