As many as 1,042 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 17 September /MOLDPRES/- A number of 9,388 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,042 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which 874 among non-vaccinated people.13 out of these cases are import ones. As many as 280,185 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry, 23 are among medical employees (7- doctors, 8 medical assistants, 8 -auxiliary staff).

As many as 1,505 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 95 are in extremely serious condition and 8 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 5,245 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 16,914 are under supervision at home.

Another 802 people have been treated. As many as 265,946 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 9 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,578 people have died of coronavirus in all.
