Moldovan electoral body sets out calendar program for new local elections

Chisinau, 20 September /MOLDPRES/- The Central Electoral Commission / CEC / has approved the calendar Program for ization and conduct of new local elections on 21 November.
The CEC members met today in an extraordinary meeting and approved topics related to the conduct of new local elections and the distribution of responsibilities among the members of the central electoral authority.
At the same time, at the proposal of Pavel Postică, the members of the central electoral authority avoided electing a secretary of the CEC, until the delegation by the Parliament of three more members of the electoral authority.
