Moldovan, Lithuanian presidents approach cooperation

Chisinau, 22 September /MOLDPRES/- During the events of the United Nations, President Maia Sandu had a meeting with President of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda, the presidential press service has reported.

"We discussed the expansion of the fields of cooperation between our countries, now that we have a new Parliament and Government in Chisinau. We also examined the possibility of exchanging experiences between the relevant authorities in Vilnius and Chisinau ", said Maia Sandu.

The head of state thanked Gitanas Nauseda for Lithuania's continued support for the interests and European agenda of the Republic of Moldova - in Brussels and other capitals. "We will continue to work to develop this constructive and friendly bilateral relationship, in the interest of the citizens of both countries," the Moldovan president said.
