As many as 1,371 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 22 September /MOLDPRES/- A number of 9,221 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,371 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. 21 out of these cases are import ones. As many as 285,321 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry, 28 are among medical employees (9- doctors, 11 medical assistants, 8 -auxiliary staff).

As many as 1,731 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 130 are in extremely serious condition and 10 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 6,244 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 16,430 are under supervision at home.

Another 914 people have been treated. As many as 269,685 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 15 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,632 people have died of coronavirus in all.
