Moldovan authorities to start negotiations with IMF on 27 September

Chisinau, 23 September /MOLDPRES/ - Resident Representative of the International Monetary Fund in Moldova Rodgers Chawani has informed that an IMF team would start discussions with the Moldovan authorities on a new programme of financial support on 27 September.
An IMF official statement reads that ‘’the IMF missions will have discussions within consultations for 2021, as well as on the authorities’ request as regards a new programme, focused on a string of policies, due to lay foundations of the reestablishment following the COVID-19 pandemic and promoting the reforms concerning the good governance and the institutional ones.’’
