As many as 647 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 25 September /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 5,380 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 647 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Seven out of these cases are import ones. Thus, 288,377 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), ten out of all cases of infection are among medical employees (five physicians, three medical assistants and two representatives of the auxiliary staff).

As many as 1,920 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 154 are in extremely serious condition and 15 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 7,277 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 17,061 are under supervision at home.

Another 1,025 people have been treated. As many as 272,677 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 14 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,679 people have died of coronavirus in all.
