Moldovan PM visits Brussels to meet several European officials

Chisinau, 27 September /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita pays a working visit to Brussels on 27-28 September. This is Natalia Gavrilița's first visit abroad as Prime Minister, and takes place at the invitation of High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell Fontelles, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

The official will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Today Natalia Gavrilița will have meetings with European Council President Charles Michel and Josep Borrell Fontelles.

Two more meetings of the Prime Minister are reserved for talks with Paolo Gentiloni, European Commissioner for Economy and Didier Reynders, European Commissioner for Justice.

On 28 September, the Prime Minister will meet with Oliver Varhelyi, European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, Adina Vălean, European Commissioner for Transport and Kadri Simson, European Commissioner for Energy.

The Prime Minister will also attend a public event with Katarína Mathernová, Deputy Director-General of European Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations and Nicu Popescu.

On the same day, Natalia Gavrilița will have a meeting with the Moldovan diaspora in Belgium. At the same time, the prime minister will give several interviews to the Western press.
