International investment forum to take place in Gagauzia

Chisinau, 27 September /MOLDPRES/ - The seventh International Investment Forum, Invest Gagauzia, will be held in the south Moldova Autonomous Territorial Unit (UTA) Gagauz-Yeri on 1-2 October.

The event will take place on the municipal stadium from Comrat, in line with the epidemiological norms. The two-day agenda of the forum includes the discussion of economic cooperation models on the post-crisis period, which will contribute to the development of a large number of sectors of the economy, creation of new products and introducing innovations.

One of the key subjects of the platform is Gagauzia’s industrialization, digital transformation of the region’s economy, development of IT in the autonomy.

Delegations from Romania, Turkey, Russia, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Belarus, Qatar are expected to take part in the forum.

Over 30 people will take the floor at the event, among whom the bashkan (governor) of Gagauzia, Irina Vlah, a former PM of Moldova, Chiril Gaburici, a former economics minister, Anatoli Usatii, as well as well-known Moldovan entrepreneurs.
