President of Slovenia to pay official visit to Chisinau

Chisinau, 28 September /MOLDPRES/ - President of Slovenia Borut Pahor will pay an official visit to Moldova on 1-2 October, at an invitation by President Maia Sandu, the presidential press service has reported.
On 1 October, Borut Pahor will be met with military honours, after which he will have meetings with Maia Sandu and the delegations’ members. During the day, President Borut Pahor will meet Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita and Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, as well as a group of pupils from Chisinau. At the end of the first day of the visit, the two heads of state will plant a tree each in the Chisinau-based Botanical Garden.
