Moldova participates in Dubai World Exhibition

Chisinau, 1 October /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova participates in the Dubai World Exhibition with a national pavilion on the period 1 October 2021 – 31 March 2022.  

Internationally, the exhibition represents a unique platform for the presentation of those 192 participating countries in a single space, with the involvement of the governmental and business sectors. At the same time, the visitors will be able to explore the participating countries without travelling there, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.  

At the event, Moldova participates with a national pavilion with an area of 393 square metres and the concept involves the country‘s promotion in the international stage by presenting the culture and traditions, agro-food industry, the most successful business models, as well as the use of information technologies in the promotion of the country’s profile abroad. 

National costumes, artisan’s objects, as well as projections about the process of production of wine traditionally, information panels and presentations of the national economy and investment opportunities are exhibited at the Moldovan pavilion. The pavilion is dedicated to the country brand, The Tree of Life, which tells about Moldova from the perspective of the zones: Discover, Taste, Invest, Craft and Wine.   

At the same time, Moldovan producers will have occasion to participate in economic events, which will be held at Expo Dubai, where they will be able to take part in B2B meetings and explore new sales markets.   

The Day of Moldova will be held at the exhibition on 3 March 2022, through the organization of a concert with Moldovan artists, presentation of national gastronomic diversity, organizing an official delegation and other related events.   

According to the organizers’ estimations, the world exhibition from Dubai will be visited by about 25 million people, of whom 70 per cent – visitors from outside the host country. This is the fourth participation of Moldova in an event of such a scale. Moldova has earlier taken part in world exhibitions in Hannover, Germany (2000), Shanghai, China (2010) and Milan, Italy, (2015).
