Chisinau, 6 Octber /MOLDPRES/- The Superior Council of Prosecutors / CSP / would be convened today in a new meeting to select and propose to President of the country an interim Prosecutor General, after Alexandr Stoianoglo was detained. Justice Minister Sergiu Litvinenco made the statement.

An attempt to convene the CSP in an extraordinary meeting took place yesterday evening. However, it failed due to the lack of a quorum, after only seven members showed up at 19.00 at the CSP headquarters.
