CNA received international anti-bribery certificates

Chisinau, 7 October /MOLDPRES/- The National Anticorruption Center announced today that it has become the first national anti-corruption agency to get ISO 37001 international anti-bribery certificate and ISO 27001 international information security certificate.
In order to receive the two certificates, CNA underwent a rigorous international audit for several months. The first stage of the evaluation aimed at the compliance of the internal normative acts, followed by a diagnosis of the key processes in the institution, with the formulation of recommendations in order to improve the current anti-bribery management and information security system.
The second stage consisted of a visit by the audit team, during which the auditors had discussions with the management and execution staff of the CNA on the work processes and other important issues. Thus, following these evaluations, the National Anticorruption Center was awarded the two international certifications.
The standardization certificates were issued for 3 years, with the possibility of their renewal provided a new audit. The certification was carried out with the support of the Project Fight against corruption by strengthening sustainable integrity in the Republic of Moldova implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Moldova, with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway.
