Moldovan capital to buy equipment for recycling vegetable, construction waste

Chisinau, 7 October /MOLDPRES/ - The housing and utility general department of the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) will buy equipment for the crushing of waste from construction and vegetable waste collected in the capital.

At a today’s meeting, CMC approved a draft grant worth 21.5 million lei, provided to the Chisinau city hall by the Environment Ministry, through the National Ecological Fund.

The financial resources will make possible the implementation of the project titled, Composting of vegetable waste and recycling waste from constructions and demolitions in the Chisinau city.

The overall value of the project, Composting of vegetable waste and recycling waste from constructions and demolitions in the Chisinau city, is of 28.4 million lei, of which the beneficiary’s contribution must be of at least 15 per cent.
