Chisinau, 11 October /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu today received Representative of UN Women in Moldova Dominika Stojanoska. The officials discussed a foreign policy of equal chances and accepted the holding, at the Foreign Affairs Ministry, of an audit on the gender equality, which will contribute to the fulfillment of the commitments taken by Moldova in this sector, including at the institutional level.

The Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has told MOLDPRES that Deputy PM Nicu Popescu at the discussion referred to the fact that Moldova had considerably advanced in terms of promotion of women’s rights and combating the domestic violence.
