As many as 1,542 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 12 October /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 6,015 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and1,542 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Nine out of these cases are import ones. Thus, 308,724 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 41 out of all infection cases are among medical employees.

As many as 2,349 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 191 are in extremely serious condition and 23 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

Another 889 people have been treated. As many as 290,145 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 28 deaths triggered by COVID-19.
