Central Moldova town's mayoralty launches contest of drawings on water's issues

Chisinau, 13 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Regional Development Agency Centru (ADR Centru) and the Ialoveni town’s mayoralty have launched a contest of drawings titled, Water – source of life. Thus, the organizers are set to encourage the young generation to show its aptitudes of creativeness through drawings, which is to include different seasons and hypostases, to approach the protection of the environment through the rational use of water, as well as the relation between the water source and the people’s living.    

Pupils of the I-XII forms from the Ialoveni town can participate in the contest. The pupils can take part in the contest with a single work, made on papers of the A4 or A3 formats. All works will be presented at an exhibition in the Sfatuil Tarii (Country Council) Park, on the occasion of the settlement’s Dedication Day, on 27 October.   

The nomination of the best works and the winner pupils will be made by a jury, made up by one representative of the participating education institutions each, representatives of ADR Centru and Ialoveni mayoralty.

The authors of the best works, placed on the positions I, II and III, for each category, will be awarded vouchers from bookshop worth 500, 300 and 200 lei. The prizes will be handed on the day when the exhibition and contest will be staged.  

The contest is carried out within the project titled, Drinking water in Ialoveni: improvement of the quality of life in the town through improved access to drinking water and awareness about the water management.
