Pupils' autumn vacation extended

Chisinau, 18 October /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Education and Research decided today to extend the pupils' autumn vacation, which, according to the Order signed by Minister Anatolie Topala, will last nine days on October 23-31. The decision was made to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus, ensuring prophylaxis and security in primary, secondary and high school institutions.

At the same time, the Ministry of Education and Research warns the heads of public and private general education institutions to establish, during the autumn holidays, a flexible or special work regime, attracting only the staff strictly necessary to ensure the functionality of the institutions. Employees, whose presence is not mandatory in the educational institution, will carry out their activities at a distance.

During the autumn holidays, in the primary, secondary, high school and extracurricular institutions, public and private, there will be no activities with the physical presence of students and teachers.

The ministry recommends that teachers remind students of road safety and life protection measures to follow during the autumn holidays.
