Moldovan parliament to hold plenary meeting on 21 October

Chisinau, 19 October /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament will hold a plenary meeting on 21 October.   

At a today’s meeting, the parliament’s standing bureau approved the date and the agenda of the next plenary meeting.  

Then MPs are to consider the simple motion initiated by the parliamentary faction of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists against the justice minister.   

The lawmakers will also discuss more draft laws proposed for approval in the first reading. Among them, there are the draft law on the amendment of the law on the regime of arms and ammunitions with civil purpose, law on the establishment of measures on the period of emergency in the public health sector and amendment of normative acts, law on the regime of foreigners in Moldova, law on the legal profession, parliament’s regulation.   

Also, the MPs will examine, in the first reading, the draft law on the ratification of the amendments to the contract on financing between Moldova and the European Investment Bank and to the accompanying letter to the contract on financing, in  order to implement Moldova’s Orchard project.  

The meeting will start at 11:00.
