Seventy seven merit scholarships to be provided in Moldova on 2021-2022 academic year

Chisinau, 20 October /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers, at a today’s meeting, approved the list of students and pupils, beneficiaries of merit scholarships in the 2021-2022 academic year, in order to support young people’s academic performances, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.  

Thus, the following types of merit scholarships, financed from the state budget, under the Government Decision No 65/2021, will be provided:  

• Republic’s Scholarships – 12 scholarships for students of the cycle I, cycle II, integrated education, medical and pharmaceutical education from higher education institutions (1,640 lei);

• Government’s Scholarship – 30 scholarships for cycle I, cycle II, integrated education, medical and pharmaceutical education from higher education institutions (1,365 lei);

• Gaudeamus Scholarship - 20 scholarships for pupils from the post-secondary and post-secondary tertiary vocational education institutions (990 lei).   

• The Scholarship of Moldova’s President – 15 scholarships, of which ten scholarships for students of the cycle I, cycle II, integrated higher education, medical and pharmaceutical education from higher education institutions (1,490 lei) and 5 scholarships for  pupils from the post-secondary and post-secondary tertiary vocational education institutions (1155 lei).

The government is to submit to the Presidency for promulgation the list of candidates for the Scholarship of Moldova’s President.
