Chisinau, 20 October /MOLDPRES/ - The monitoring co-rapporteurs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) have welcomed the Moldovan authorities’ decision to reform the judicial system, at the end of a fact-collecting visit to Moldova.

The two co-rapporteurs, Inese Lībiņa-Egnere and Pierre-Alain Fridez, hailed especially the adoption of the constitutional amendments as to the de-politicizing of the judicial system. They also welcomed the cooperation with the Council of Europe in the carrying out of the judicial reform.
