Moldovan opera singer celebrates 65th birth anniversary

Chisinau, 21 October /MOLDPRES/- Well-known opera singer Andrei Donos, soloist of the National Opera and Ballet Theater Maria Bieşu, People's Artist, nicknamed Rigoletto of Bessarabia celebrates 65th birth anniversary today.

Over the years, Andrei Donos has collaborated with conductors Alexandru Samoilă, Nicolae Dohotaru, Mihai Amihalachioaie, Corneliu Calistru (Iași), Tomas Pal (Hungary), Gheorghe Dimitrov (Bulgaria), with opera performers Maria Bieşu, Valentina Calestru, Mihai Munteanu, Ludmila Aga, Elena Gherman, Ion Paulencu, Vasile Micușa, Valeriu Cojocaru and others. He has toured in Bulgaria, France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Spain and other countries.

In 1994 Andrei Donos was awarded the honorary title Master of Art and in 2009 - People's Artist.
