As many as 1,505 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 26 October /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 7,917 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,505 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Eleven out of these cases are import ones. Thus, 330,799 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 38 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (9 physicians, 17 medical assistants, 12 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 2,436 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 236 are in extremely serious condition and 31 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 10,032 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 15,669 are under supervision at home.

Another 1,368 people have been treated. As many as 308,832 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 41 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 7,576 people have died of coronavirus in all.
