ANI to verify wealth statements of National Bank's management

Chisinau, 27 October /MOLDPRES/- Statements on wealth and personal interests for 2020 by Governor, First Vice-Governor and Vice-Governor of the National Bank of Moldova will be verified by integrity inspectors.

According to the National Integrity Authority, the statements submitted by the members of the Supervisory Board and the Executive Committee of the BNM, as well as those of heads and deputies of subdivisions within this entity will be subject to verifications.

Over 40 statements on assets and personal interests were distributed for verification via the e-Integrity system.

The action takes place in the context of the order issued this April by the ANI head, after the period for submitting the statements has ended. According to the document, several officials were identified, out of about 40 categories of subjects of the declaration, in respect of which the mandatory control ex officio of the annual declarations of assets and personal interests for 2020 has been ordered.
