Chisinau, 27 October /MOLDPRES/ - Representatives of the Centru Regional Development Agency (ADR Centru) has held a meeting on the site where construction works are carried out within the project, Restoration of the road infrastructure of access to the Centru region through asphalting the road L-326.M2 Clisova-Suhuluceni-Leuseni-Verejeni. The authorities agreed on the need of a laboratory expertise.

Attending the meeting were the beneficiary’s representative, entrepreneur and the project author. The participants in the meeting discussed peculiarities of implementation of the works carried out so far. The sides agreed on organizing the laboratory expertise for a road segment, where restoration works are to be carried out.

So far, within the project, works of restoring the road segment Ciocalteni-Coropceni have been carried out, with a length of about eight km of asphalted road, works of renovation of the current small bridges, arranging sidewalks and drains for the leakage of rain waters.

„The investments made are aimed at enhancing the economic competitiveness regionally, through the improvement of the access to, from and between various zones of the region. This zone has an infrastructure of roads and transport of quite poor quality, needing urgent rehabilitation.  Thus, the concerned road segment, being restored, will favour the access to the district’s area. Also, this will lead to the increase in the traffic’s density – a quite important index for the regional development, conditioned by the increase in the number of car owners, contributing to the enhancement of the living standards under this aspect as well,’’ ADR Centru said.
