Winners of drawing competition awarded in Ialoveni

Chisinau, 28 October /MOLDPRES/- The drawing contest Water - source of life, carried out by the Regional Development Agency (ADR) Centru in partnership with the City Hall of Ialoveni, has nominated winners. The award ceremony took place yesterday, during the festivity dedicated to marking the 585th anniversary of Ialoveni .

The drawing contest took place on October 13-22 within the Moldovan-Slovak project Drinking water in Ialoveni: improving the quality of life in the city through improved access to drinking water and awareness of water management.

Through this activity, the organizers aimed to to encourage the younger generation to demonstrate their creative skills through drawings.The children presented water in different seasons and poses, addressing topics such as protecting the environment through the rational use of water, the connection between water source and people's daily lives.

„The receptivity, creativity and activism of the students from Ialoveni city were pleasantly surprised, with over 170 works registered at the competition. All participants were appreciated with diplomas, and the authors of the most original works also received vouchers from the bookstore worth 500, 300 and 200 lei ", indicates ADR Centru.

The exhibition of works was organized in front of Ialoveni City Hall. All the works have become the property of the city administration and will be kept for the entire duration of ensuring the sustainability of the mentioned project.

This project provides for the rehabilitation of part of the water supply system in Ialoveni (1035 m) to ensure a global and reliable coverage of the city, as well as collaboration with locals to increase awareness of water management and a responsible approach to the environment.
