Chisinau Municipal Council set up new sanitation tax

Chisinau, 29 October /MOLDPRES/- The municipal councilors from the PSRM and PAS factions voted in yesterday's extraordinary meeting for setting up a monthly sanitation fee woth 10 lei.

According to the decision of the Chisinau Municipal Council, the sanitation fee, amounting to ten lei per month, will be paid once a year, in November. The sanitation fee is a sanitary one that differs from the one for waste disposal and sanitation of courtyards. This fee will be paid for the maintenance of the city.

The local taxes and fees collection department will issue the respective invoices.

Retired persons, people with disabilities and children up to 18 years of age are exempt from the tax.
