Drivers required to drive in dipped-beam headlights during day from 1 November

Chisinau, 29 Occtober /MOLDPRES/- From 1 November, drivers are required to drive with headlights on during the day, as required by the Road Traffic Regulations.

According to the National Inspectorate of Public Security, the measures are taken annually in the cold period of the year, characterized by unstable weather, accompanied by rain, gloomy weather and fog, which reduce visibility in traffic.

Patrol inspectors advise drivers to adapt their speed to the weather conditions and to keep a greater distance between vehicles in traffic. Drivers with unconnected headlights will only be chosen with a warning from patrol inspectors.

The provision to drive with the headlights on during the day is valid until 31 March 2022.
