Chisinau, 4 November /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita today visited the production factory of the Dräxlmaier Company, resident of the Balti Free Economic Zone (FEZ Balti). Since 2007 so far, the company has invested about 120 million dollars in Moldova and created more than 6,000 jobs, being the biggest regional employer from Balti and Cahul, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

„Our priority No 1 is to create as many as possible jobs at home. In this way, our citizens will remain in the country and the ones who left abroad will be able to return home to work in decent conditions. We will orient ourselves in continuation towards the creation of friendly conditions for attracting investments and developing companies which, through their work, bring value added to the country and contribute to improving the people’s quality of life,’’ Natalia Gavrilita said.

The PM also discussed with the factory’s leadership the labour conditions and the opportunities of employees’ professional training. A workshop works at the factory, where people are trained during three months after employment. At the same time, starting from 2014, the dual system of young people’s training has been applied at the company. Young people have possibility to learn the profession not only from theory, but also in practice, directly at the enterprise, with most of them remaining to work at the company. In this respect, developers are set to digitalize and bring innovations into the education process of the Balti-based Alecu Russo State University.
