Chisinau, 5 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldovagaz stock company today submitted to the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) an application on the increase in the average tariff for the delivery of natural gas to the end consumers at the regulated prices for the 2021 year from 4,128 lei to 9,396 lei for 1,000 cubic metres.

Thus, according to the application of Moldovagaz, the tariff for the natural gas at the points of exit from the low-pressure distribution networks is suggested to be increased from 4,298 lei to 10,260 lei for 1,000 cubic metres, of medium pressure from 4,018 lei to 8,649 lei, high-pressure – from 3,910 lei to 8,331 lei for 1,000 cubic metres.

In the case of the gas transport networks, the tariff is to be increased from 2,613 lei to 7,834 lei for 1,000 cubic metres in the entrance points and from 2,895 lei to 8,115 lei at the exit points.

The main factor which triggered the need to revise the tariffs is the significant increase of the acquisition prices. The new final tariff for natural gas at regulated prices will be approved by ANRE in an open meeting.
