Moldovan electoral body accredits another 50 observers for local elections due on 21 November

Chisinau, 6 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) at a today’s meeting accredited 50 national observers for the new local elections due on 21 November 2021.
Forty seven observers are on behalf of the Promo-LEX public association and three ones represent another public association – Association for urban safety and mediation.
So far, CEC has accredited 72 national observers for monitoring the local polls.
The deadline for submitting the applications on accreditation as observer expires on 13 November.
New local elections will take place in 15 settlements of Moldova, among which also the Balti city, on 21 November.
