Moldovan fine artist inaugurates personal exhibition in northern town

Chisinau, 6 November /MOLDPRES/ - A personal exhibition by fine artist Simion Zamsa today was inaugurated at the District History, Ethnography and Art Museum from the northern Drochia town.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, Simion Zamsa said that the exhibition comprised 25 works of drawing and author techniques. ‘’The author techniques are older, while the engraving works have been made in the last three years,’’ Zamsa noted.
Simion Zamsa was born in the Onitcani village, central Criuleni district, on 23 June 1958. He studied at the Igor Vieru Fine Arts Lyceum from Chisinau (1969-1976) and at the I. Repin Academy of Fine Arts from St. Petersburg, (Russia) (1979-1984). In 1990, Zamsa became member of the Fine Artists’ Union from Moldova and in 1995 – member of the International Association of Art of UNESCO. Starting from 1990 till present, he has been teacher in artistic education at specialized institutions from Moldova’s capital, lecturer at the Ion Creanga State Pedagogical University. He had numerous exhibitions in Moldova and abroad.
The exhibition will be opened till 6 December.
