As many as 954 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 6 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 6,145 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 954 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Seven out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 345,517 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 12 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (2 physicians, 6 medical assistants, 4 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 1,964 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 192 are in extremely serious condition and 39 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 8,712 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 12,417 are under supervision at home.

Another 1,219 people have been treated. As many as 323,996 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 49 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 8,056 people have died of coronavirus in all.
