Energy efficiency of gymnasium in Flămânzeni close to completion

Chisinau, 8 November /MOLDPRES/- At the Iurie Boghiu Gymnasium from Flămânzeni village, Sangerei district, the external works to increase energy efficiency, executed within a project financed by the European Union, were completed. Previously, the institution underwent rehabilitation and thermal insulation works, the windows and doors were replaced, the electrical, ventilation and water supply networks were installed, and, currently, interior renovation works are underway, on the basis of an additional agreement.

The management of the North Regional Development Agency (RDA) recently checked the progress of the renovation works inside the gymnasium and found that they are according to the schedule. On the site, some aspects regarding the organization of the reception at the full completion of the works were discussed, an event that will take place by the end of this year.

As a result of energy efficiency measures, 330 students and teachers benefit from improved educational conditions and a comfortable study environment.

The works started in October 2020. The total cost of the construction works within this project amounts to 17.44 million lei, of which 17.22 million lei represents the financing of the European Union, through ADR Nord, and 217,890 lei - the co-financing from part of the Sangerei District Council.

The investment measure Increasing the energy efficiency of Iurie Boghiu Gymnasium in Flămânzeni is financed by the European Union and implemented by ADR Nord and the project Modernization of Local Public Services in the Republic of Moldova (MSPL).
