Theatre from St. Petersburg presents three plays in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 8 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Theatre and Festival ”Балтийский дом” (Baltic House) from St. Petersburg , Russia, presented three plays on the stage of the A.P. Chekhov Russian State Dramatic Theatre from Chisinau on 6-7 November.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the director of the host institution, Vitalie Drucec, said it was about an exchange of tours between the two theatres. ‘’In early November, we played two plays on the stage of the aforementioned theatre from St. Petersburg: The Snow Queen by Evghenii Șvarț, stage management of Ghennadii Boiarkin and The Philistines by writer Maksim  Gorki, stage management of Slava Sambris. On 30 October, the A.P. Chekhov theatre participated in a festival of Russian theatres from abroad in Yaroslavl, where we presented the play The Philistines by M. Gorki, stage management Slava Sambris,’’ Drucec noted.        

Thus, on 6-7 November at 11:00, the troupe from St. Petersburg staged a play for children, Treasure Island, according to the novel by Robert Lewis Stevenson, stage management of Anatoly Dubanov. On 6 November at 18:00, the play titled, Good Guys was presented, according to the play Boeing-Boeing by Mark Camoletti, stage management of Dmitry Petrun.  According to the organizers, the play by Mark Camoletti, Boeing-Boeing, is included in the Guinness Book of Records for most productions in the world.
